Eco- School Committee
Carrowreagh Primary School is a long standing Eco School, having achieved our very first Eco Schools Green Flag in 2011. Since then, we are incredibly proud to have been awarded seven Green Flags, and this year we are enthusiastically working towards Green Flag number eight!
Our eco projects are led by our fantastic Eco Committee, made up of pupils from Years 4–7, who play an active role in promoting sustainability across the school. They lead by example, share ideas and help inspire everyone to care for our environment.
This year, our Eco Schools focus areas are:
- Outdoor Learning
- Healthy Living
- Waste Management
All pupils and staff are committed to making our school an even more environmentally friendly place. Together, we continue to work hard to make positive choices and ensure Carrowreagh Primary School remains a greener, healthier place to learn.
